Our Office Staff
Hello! My name is Marcie. I’m not only an employee, I’m also a patient! LOL Having had back surgery myself back in 2001 while serving in the Army. OUCH!!! I understand pain. It is my mission to ensure no one has to suffer needlessly. I wish I can invent a time machine, and have seen a chiropractor prior to requiring surgery. I understand. Having worked in this office for almost five years, I have come to revere the spine. There are no SPINE TRANSPLANTS! We must take care of the one we have. Having a background in massage therapy, I have intimate knowledge of the construct and motion of our bodies. I have passion for what I do. I am truly vested in the recovery of every single patient that walks through our welcoming doors.
I have been with Atlas Chiropractic for 3 years now. I started off as an intern, finishing off my schooling as a Medical Assistant. Interning with atlas was a great opportunity for me, it allowed me to earn my Chiropractic Assistant certificate, meet great patients and learn a lot of things about the spine and how it affects our entire body. Treatment in the therapy room is a relaxing moment for the patients and myself, I use different treatments for the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine that helps relax the muscles before the adjustment. I love to read, and spend family time with my 5 year old son. We here at Atlas have great relationships with our patients, I wouldn’t just call this a chiropractic office or work its where we laugh, enjoy each other by being ourselves and making people feel better.
